MiBe.uk's standard is to deliver the best achievable outcome on every commitment. Where perfection isn't practical, the focus shifts to what is genuinely achievable and delivering that well.
The offering is straightforward — four things, all handled properly, nothing half-finished:
Small sites, built fast and built to load fast. No bloat, no fifteen tracking scripts.

There's a flagship project already underway — more on that further down — but the same standard applies to anything MiBe.uk takes on, from a one-page site to a full piece of software.

Standard school career. Nothing remarkable — except a rogue grade A in Food Technology that remains, to this day, a personal best.

which is the respectable way of saying student life was enjoyed.
A year off first. No regrets.
Early career
Started on a graduate scheme doing software testing for a company that makes headlines for all the wrong reasons. Did that for two years, finished it, then went contracting. Financial institutions, mostly.

2020 had other plans. Turned out "more of the same" wasn't actually on the table,
so a few things got rebuilt from the ground up — priorities included.

Post-lockdown
Instead of going back to a desk, got a CSCS card and went to work on construction sites as a labourer. Started from the bottom — general labourer, then power tools, then skilled labourer. Turns out physical work and a change of scene does something good for the brain.

Moved into materials control, where the IT background started pulling its weight again. Looked at how sites manage materials. Decided it was a mess. Started building something to fix it — initially as a hobby, currently as something that might actually matter.

When a genuinely interesting idea comes up, it gets built. If it works, maybe it'll be useful to someone else too.

IPOS — It's Probably On Site. Materials management on construction sites is a mess: spreadsheets, WhatsApp, guesswork. This is what happens when a software engineer gets a CSCS card and decides to actually fix the problem.
Track materials on site in real time. Not "probably by the hoarding." Actually on site, on a timber rack, in a compound.
Deliveries logged. Stock tracked. No more walking the site to find those 30 lengths of CLS.
Materials checked against the material schedule, so what's sent to the tradie actually matches what the drawings call for.
Not an office dwellers idea of what site workers need. Built by a site worker, for site workers.
